In this Policy, “you” and “your” refer to any policyholder, insured person, beneficiary, claimant, prospective customer, representative, user of the Website or Services, or any other individual whose personal data is collected or processed by MetLife in connection with its insurance business and related services.
MetLife is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in connection with your use of the Services. This Policy explains how MetLife collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal data obtained from you, or provided by you, in connection with the Services. Personal Data MetLife May Collect

MetLife may collect data/information from your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing MetLife Services, the time and date of your use of the Services, and other relevant statistics. The information that MetLife requests will be retained by us and used as described in this Policy.
Insurance-related data, including policy numbers, health information, beneficiary details, claims history, and financial information provided in connection with the purchase, administration, or servicing of insurance products.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small pieces of information that our server places on a visitor's computer hard drive to enable that person to more easily communicate and interact with the Website and to provide us with important information on how visitors use the Website.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

As described above, your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions outside the country in which you reside, including to MetLife's headquarters in the United States of America, and to other jurisdictions where MetLife Companies, affiliates, reinsurers, or service providers are located.
